The My SmartBaby Infant Simulator is the ideal interactive teaching tool for instruction in infant care and teen pregnancy prevention programs. The simulator provides a realistic simulation in infant care lasting up to 48 hours by requiring students to respond to a variety of basic infant care needs, such as feeding, burping, diaper changing, rocking, and more. The simulator also has sensors that detect mishandling, such as being shaken or dropped. There is no additional software to buy: My SmartBaby conveniently connects to a mobile device via Wi-Fi and is managed with a downloadable, easily updatable app. Instructors can use the app to manage their My SmartBaby program and provide student feedback. Students can use the app to send information to the instructor, take a quiz, and complete an infant care budget. Each My SmartBaby simulator is anatomically female with brown skin tone and represents the approximate size (about 6½ lb; 20" long) of an infant up to the age of 3 months. Each My SmartBaby comes with set of accessories, universal charger block with USB cable, carrying case, and contents card providing access to downloadable manuals, an activity guide, and instructional videos.
